The Buying Group was originally formed as a partnership in 2009 and due to its rapid growth and future expansion plans it decided to establish a limited company under the single ownership of Ron Sandison. The limited company now called “The Buying Group Spain S.L” was formed in October 2010 and is privately funded by Ron Sandison. The company currently employs 20 staff and is based from a warehouse in Finestrat, Alicante.

As founder and Managing Director, Ron Sandison brings to The Buying Group an extensive wealth of knowledge and experience in business, from company formation, to strategic growth plans including international expansion, Ron has a proven track record in running successful businesses.

Formally of BT and C&W holding senior sales positions managing some of their largest Global accounts before starting his own Virtual Network Operator “VNO” venture; Network Partners Limited, which he grew in to the No.1 BT Partner in the UK. Network Partners helped to provide the channel with comprehensive product offerings backed up by an unparalleled customer service support team, value and choice in an often complicated market of telecommunications. Ron successfully sold Network Partners in 2005 to Calyx Group PLC, formally Matrix Communications PLC. Prior to founding The Buying Group in 2009, Ron has been responsible for successfully supporting and assisting in the launch of a number of SME businesses both in the UK and Europe, he also sits on a business advisory board for Coutts UK supporting high growth business in the UK.
