Local Piedmont hazelnuts are harvested, peeled, roasted and crushed. Then they allowed to infuse with a solution of alcohol and water.
DISTILLATION
The infusion of hazelnuts is distilled to produce a natural hazelnut distillate.
FLAVORS
The distillate is mixed with hazelnut extracts and distillates seed coconut, vanilla beans and other flavoring preparations to create the Frangelico concentrate.
MIXTURE
The concentrate is mixed with pure alcohol, sugar and water to obtain the necessary graduation for bottling. Then allowed to stand in tanks for 6-8 weeks to allow the mixture to integrate and mature.
